Suncoast Credit Union’s ‘Year of No Payments Giveaway’ returns

TAMPA, Fla. (July 20, 2026) – Imagine a year without one of your most expensive monthly bills. Suncoast Credit Union is again making that dream a reality for three lucky members.  Returning for a second year, “Suncoast’s Year of No Payments Giveaway” will cover one year of rent, mortgage or car payments.  

New members who join Suncoast online or in person at any Suncoast branch now through December 31, 2026, will receive one entry into the giveaway. Existing Suncoast members can receive one entry if they download and log into the new Suncoast Mobile App.

“Our mission at Suncoast Credit Union is to improve the lives of our members and the communities we serve,” said Kevin Johnson, president and CEO of Suncoast Credit Union.  “Our giveaway helps ease financial pressures while rewarding the trust our members place in us each day.”

In 2025, Suncoast Credit Union awarded two members a full year of no payments, including longtime member Jose Garcia of Wesley Chapel, who selected one year of mortgage payments for his grand prize.  Garcia, a husband, father of two and Suncoast member since age 11, was honored during a special celebration at the Suncoast Credit Union Zephyrhills service center.

Entries remain eligible throughout the promotion period and carry over into subsequent drawing periods.  The 2026 entry periods are as follows:

• Period 1 | July 1 - Aug. 31
• Period 2 | Sept. 1 - Oct. 31
• Period 3 | Nov. 1 - Dec. 31
   

In addition to yearly giveaways for members, Suncoast offers a wide range of member perks, including fee-free checking, fee-free ATMs at Publix and Wawa, and BOGO tickets to some of Florida’s favorite attractions. Members also have access to financial literacy tools and free programs designed to help them confidently navigate every stage of life, including unexpected expenses or disruptions.
