Suncoast Annual Membership Meeting

The Credit Union’s 93rd Annual Membership Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, March 26, 2026, beginning promptly at 5:30pm, in the Community Room of the Credit Union’s Building at 6536 E. Hillsborough Avenue in Tampa. The agenda for the Annual Membership Meeting will include the election of Directors. Andrea L. Falvey

Andrea Falvey – Treasurer

A graduate of the University of South Florida, Ms. Falvey received her Bachelor of Science Degree before earning her Master’s in Business Administration and is an Economic Development Manager with the City of St. Petersburg. As the daughter of two Hillsborough County Public School Educators, she has a passion to help guide the Credit Union to ensure its fiscal health for our current and future members. A Credit Union member since 1979, Ms. Falvey served three years on the Supervisory Committee, with one term as its Chair, before being elected to the Board in 2017. She served one term as Secretary and is currently serving as Treasurer.
Lorraine Fernandez

Lorraine Fernandez – Director

Ms. Fernandez holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from the University of South Florida. She has worked in Education for 26 years and is currently in a Leadership position as an E.L.L. Resource Teacher with the Hillsborough County Public School District. She received the Ida S. Baker Diversity Teacher of the Year Award in 2009, 2016, and in 2019. She won the 2020 Florida Hispanic Heritage Month Excellence in Education Contest for Elementary teachers, awarded to her by the state’s Governor. Previous to her career in Education, Mrs. Fernandez worked for MacDill Federal Credit Union, Tampa, FL and Pentagon Federal Credit Union, Torrejon Airbase, Spain. Her volunteer service with the Credit Union began with her appointment to the Supervisory Committee in 2019. She was elected to the Board of Directors in August 2020.
Dr. Marc R. Johnson

Dr. Marc Johnson – Director

A Credit Union member since 1993, Dr. Johnson is the senior partner in a dual-location dental practice that was established 24 years ago. He is also a Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve and has served in the military from 1987 to the present. Dr. Johnson is a member of the research faculty at the University of Florida and volunteers at the Judeo-Christian Health Clinic in Tampa, FL. Dr. Johnson’s volunteer service with the Credit Union began in 2013 as a member of the Supervisory Committee before being elected to the Board in 2014.
Zamir Ode

Zamir Ode – Director

Mr. Ode has been with the Hillsborough County Public Schools District since 1993. He served as a criminal justice teacher from 1995–1999 and is currently Major of Security and Emergency Management. He has extensive expertise in criminal investigations and acts as liaison with local law enforcement agencies and the state attorney’s office. Mr. Ode became a member in 1993, and his volunteer service with the Credit Union began in 2008 as a member of the Supervisory Committee where he served two terms as its Chair before being elected to the Board of Directors in 2013. He served one term as Treasurer, one term as Vice Chair, and one term as Chairman of the Board.
