Suncoast Annual Membership Meeting
The agenda will include the election of Directors. Nominations from the Nominating Committee will be communicated to the membership no later than 30 days prior to the Annual Meeting. Additional nominations may be made by petition signed by at least 1,000 credit union members. Any member who wishes to seek nomination by petition is requested to contact Pam Staley, Executive Administrative Assistant to the CEO, for more detailed information and the required forms at pam.staley@suncoastcreditunion.com. Nominations by petition must be filed with the Secretary of the credit union no later than February 10, 2025.
Should there be additional nominations by petition for any of the positions to be filled, an election will be conducted by ballot. No election will be held if there is only one nominee for each position. Nominations may NOT be made from the floor of the Annual Membership Meeting.

For Board of Directors – Three-Year Terms
Dr. Odalys G. Pritchard – Director
Dr. Odalys Pritchard has been a loyal Suncoast Schools Credit Union Member since 1992 and joined the Suncoast Supervisory Committee in 2021. Odalys has been an educator with Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS) for 33 years as a middle school teacher, assistant principal, principal, and district-level administrator. For the last 2 years, she has been a Specialist in Leadership Development for Hillsborough County Public Schools, coaching and supporting new principals. Odalys is a graduate of Hillsborough County Public Schools and received her bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate degrees from the University of South Florida.
Jounice L. Nealy-Brown – Vice Chair
Ms. Nealy-Brown, an attorney at Gunster law firm since 2018 and former Communications Director for Times Publishing Co. (Tampa Bay Times), joined the Board of Directors of Times Staffers Federal Credit Union in 2006 and was President of the Board when that credit union was merged with Suncoast in 2007 in a move designed to continue to provide the best service to its members. She comes from a very active credit union family and is dedicated to the Credit Union Philosophy. A member of the Credit Union since 1979, Ms. Nealy-Brown was elected to the Board of Directors in March 2013, has served two terms as Secretary, two terms as Treasurer, and is currently serving as Vice Chair.
Manuel G. Lopez – Director
A member of the Credit Union since 1993, Mr. Lopez has been employed with the University of South Florida for 29 years where he has held the position of Director of Facilities, Procurement & Logistics for Housing and Residential Education for the previous 7 years. He holds a BS degree in Entomology from Louisiana State University and a BS in Management and an MBA from the University of Tampa. Mr. Lopez’s volunteer service with the Credit Union began in 2015 after being appointed to the Supervisory Committee, where he served two terms as Chair. He was elected to the Board of Directors in June 2018.
Stephanie Mathews – Director
Ms. Mathews has been a Credit Union member since 1978. She holds a BA degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Central Florida, a BA degree in English Education, and an MA degree in Educational Leadership from the University of South Florida. Ms. Mathews has worked for 27 years in education and is currently the Assistant Principal at Gorrie Elementary. Her community volunteer service also includes membership with the Junior League of Tampa and Ye Loyal Krewe of Grace O’Malley. Her volunteer service with the Credit Union began with her appointment to the Supervisory Committee in 2017, where she served one term as Chair. She was elected to the Board of Directors in March 2019.
