Suncoast Credit Union Announces Opening of Ocala Service Center

OCALA, Fla. (Sept. 1, 2026) – Suncoast Credit Union continues to strengthen its presence and commitment to communities across Florida with the opening of a branch in Ocala.  The opening marks Suncoast’s second service center launched in recent months, following the debut of a branch in Davenport in May.

The Ocala branch, which officially opened Aug. 10, expands convenient access to financial services for members in a fast-growing part of Florida.  The investment reflects Suncoast’s commitment to supporting Marion County’s continued residential and economic growth while providing residents and businesses with affordable financial products and services.

The new branch, located at 8422 SW Highway 200 in the Liberty Triangle section of Ocala, represents Suncoast Credit Union’s first service center in Marion County.  While Suncoast's physical presence in the county is new, its membership base is not.  Suncoast currently has more than 8,000 members throughout the area, and the new service center is expected to bolster that.

Service center features include:

“The opening of our Ocala service center is about being there for the people and families who call Marion County home,” said Kevin Johnson, president and CEO of Suncoast Credit Union. “We believe strong communities are built when people have the financial tools, support and opportunities to achieve their goals. Through financial education, meaningful community partnerships and greater access to trusted financial services, we’re here to help our neighbors build brighter futures for themselves and their families.”

Prior to the opening, Suncoast leaders and team members actively engaged with the Marion County community through partnerships with the Public Education Foundation of Marion County, Take Stock in Children, local chambers of commerce and education-focused events.
