Suncoast Credit Union Partners with The Florida Aquarium to Offer AquaCamp Scholarships

TAMPA, FL (March 6, 2025) – Suncoast Credit Union, the largest credit union in Florida, is partnering with The Florida Aquarium to provide 20 AquaCamp scholarships, ensuring children in need have the opportunity to experience the wonder of marine science and conservation. 

AquaCamp is an innovative science-themed summer camp with weekly field trips, animal encounters, and more. Scholarship recipients will receive one week of AquaCamp, including daily lunch and snacks, a camp t-shirt, and access to early drop-off and late pick-up services. Applications for the AquaCamp Scholarships are due by Wednesday, March 12, 2025.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the AquaCamp Scholarship, the camper must have completed kindergarten through third grade by May 2025 and meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • Camper participates in free/reduced-price school lunch program.
  • Camper is in the foster care system.
  • Camper, parent(s) or legal guardian(s) receive public assistance (ADC, SSI, child support, etc.).
  • Parent(s) or legal guardian(s) are limited fixed income (social security, disability, etc.).

 

Suncoast Credit Union is offering special benefits to its 1.2 million members, including a Buy One adult admission, Get One free child’s admission (limit two) at The Florida Aquarium when using a Suncoast debit or credit card. This offer is valid through April 30.
