Help strengthen families and prevent the need for foster care by joining the Better Together mission. When parents face homelessness, job loss, medical emergencies, or other crises, we cast our volunteer-powered safety net. Host families provide short-term care for children while staff and mentors empower parents to secure employment, housing and other needs. Job fairs and job coaches offer meaningful work opportunities.

The Florida Lions Eye Clinic

The Florida Lions Eye Clinic (FLLEC) is a nonprofit dedicated to restoring sight for uninsured and underinsured individuals and families across Florida. As the only free eye clinic in the state offering a full continuum of care, FLLEC provides exams, treatment, glasses, and surgical services at no cost. Through compassionate, high-quality care, the Clinic empowers patients to regain independence, improve health outcomes, and return to work, school, and daily life with confidence, dignity, and renewed hope.
