WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2009, the second edition of World Wrestling Entertainment's reigning interactive entertainment title for Wii, heads into the arenas with new user-controlled entrance scenes and victory sequences. The game offers new match types, new objects to use as weapons, and online play, while expanding on the accessible, motion-sensitive control scheme introduced in the previous year's release. An original story mode leads the player's favorite wrestler, real-life or custom-created, on an intriguing, season-long quest to a Wrestlemania victory.
