The evocative score to the John Sayles political drama Men with Guns straddles the line between traditional and contemporary Latin American sounds, spanning from a rap rendition of Peter Gabriel's "Amor de Pobre" to the Afro-Caribbean rhythms of "La Verdolag" to the Mayan orchestral piece "Dios Nunca Muerte."
